The Department of Biological and Physical Sciences is seeking to hire a Project Manager in the College of Science, Math, and Engineering Technology here at SC State University.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Create an effective management and communication network to effectively achieve the objectives of the proposed activities • Research, Education, and Workforce Development (REWD) – to build upon the existing relationship with DOE-SRNL to provide research activities that will address the scientific and technical needs of DOE relative to environment management and Cyber Security-IT, and to provide educational preparation and student training for the development of the appropriate skill sets for STEM students for employment with DOE and its national labs and other STEM entities. Project Management: To ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently and proficiently, it is important to implement the management and network component of the project. The management and network component (i.e., Project Management) will provide resources for collecting and disseminating information, implementing education, workforce development, and research initiatives, and monitoring the success of all the project activities to ensure that the programmatic and fiscal management of the project complies with the University, state and federal requirements.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:

A Bachelor's Degree in a related Field
