The applicant should possess a strong background in Fire Protection Engineering. The faculty member appointed to this position will be responsible for teaching a comprehensive range of core undergraduate courses in Fire Protection Engineering. These courses may include Life Safety Analysis (Introduction and Advanced), Fire Protection Fluid Mechanics, Smoke Management and Fire Alarm Systems, Water-Based Fire Protection System Design, Structural Fire Protection, Advanced Fire Suppression, Fire Dynamics, Fire-Informed Performance-Based Design, Fire Assessment Methods Lab and Proposal, as well as Fire Assessment Methods and Capstone. Climate-Smart Project Director Administration – Orangeburg, SC

The postdoctoral researcher will participate in an interdisciplinary, funded research project related to work zone safety for commercial motor vehicles.
