South Carolina State University's Finance Division is hiring for an Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II position. The selected candidate will provide assistance to the Director of Grants and Contracts Accounting by monitoring/tracking the status of all sponsored projects through its project life cycle, to include project setup, monitoring receivables, grant billing, financial reporting, time and effort reporting and project close-out. Liaison for the preparation, review, and coordination of sponsored projects and university audits. Prepare/review journal entries.
Facilitate meetings with the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and act as a liaison between Grants and Contracts and OSP. Propose policies and procedures related to the handling of restricted funds for review and utilization.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:

High School Diploma

Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and professional experience directly related, such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending.
