The Computer Science and Mathematics Department within the College of Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, and Transportation (CSTEMT) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track teaching appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science/Cybersecurity. The person appointed to this position will teach the full range of undergraduate courses in computer science and cybersecurity. Effective teaching, scholarly productivity (funded research and publications), and service to the University are required for retention, promotion, and tenure.
Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position:
Courses/experience in cybersecurity is preferable as well as college-level teaching, research, and publication.
Certification in Cybersecurity/Information Security, 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in teaching computer science and cybersecurity
courses and laboratory, conducting K-12 outreach activities in computing and cybersecurity, involvement in cybersecurity/computing
research activities and experience in cloud computing, Data Analytics, and Internet of Things (IOT) related scholarly activities.
