The Department of Academic Affairs is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator I. As the Administrative Coordinator, the selected candidate will complete organizational and management tasks that support the efforts of a variety of projects or events for the BECT Institute. Common Coordinator duties and responsibilities include:

Description of Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicating with students, and faculty about projects, events or expectations, and goals
• Collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and the BECT Advisory Council on meetings and events
• Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
• Managing deadlines and progress to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget
• Organizing third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that can’t be produced in-house
• Overseeing the delivery of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards
• Collecting and analyzing feedback from students and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success
• Managing and ordering office supplies
• Making travel arrangements
• Organizing company documents into updated filing systems
• Addressing employees’ and clients’ queries (via email, phone, or in-person)
• Preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and reports
• Updating office policies as needed

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma

Preferred Requirements: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organization skills
• Work Experience
• Ability to use technology (MS Word & Excel)
