4-H Youth Development Extension Agent Administration – Orangeburg, SC
• Oversees the program area and leads the regional 4-H and Youth Development Program. Organizes and conducts 4-H and Youth Development projects in the 4-H and Youth Development program areas: Civic Engagement, Healthy Lifestyles, Financial Management, STREAM, and Volunteerism. • Provides leadership for 4-H and Youth Development project activities to meet the needs of youth per the Extension Model/Civil Rights/Affirmative Action Guidelines. • Uses the 1890 Extension Service Delivery Model (ESDM) recommendations along with appropriate technologies to plan and deliver 4-H Youth Development programs through workshops, seminars, conferences, one-on-one visits, field trips, and tours. • Networks and builds coalitions with other federal, state, and local agencies, organizations, and institutions to address the complex youth and family issues and needs of the 4-H and Youth Development Program.

• Conduct monthly budget vs. actual analysis, utilizing reporting tools to create and provide monthly budget performance reports for all capacity funds (Research, Extension, RREA, EFNEP). The applicant should possess a strong background in Fire Protection Engineering. The faculty member appointed to this position will be responsible for teaching a comprehensive range of core undergraduate courses in Fire Protection Engineering. These courses may include Life Safety Analysis (Introduction and Advanced), Fire Protection Fluid Mechanics, Smoke Management and Fire Alarm Systems, Water-Based Fire Protection System Design, Structural Fire Protection, Advanced Fire Suppression, Fire Dynamics, Fire-Informed Performance-Based Design, Fire Assessment Methods Lab and Proposal, as well as Fire Assessment Methods and Capstone. The individual placed in this position will be responsible for providing undergraduate instruction on nuclear energy issues such as reactor design and physics, nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear materials science and engineering, radiation science, nuclear instrumentation, and public policy regarding nuclear power.
