Assistant Director of Audio Video Technology in Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The Audio-Visual Systems Manager will oversee and support the University's enterprise collaboration ecosystem by: Lead Enterprise AV Operations. Manage and support classroom, conference room, lecture hall, and event space audio-visual systems across the University. Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise AV technologies to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. Configure and support conferencing equipment, displays, cameras, microphones, digital signal processors, collaboration devices, and integrated AV control systems. Lead Campus AV Projects Review technical drawings, contracts, system designs, and AV documentation to ensure compliance with university standards. Recommend technology upgrades and future infrastructure improvements aligned with institutional goals. Deliver Outstanding Customer Support Provide advanced technical support for classrooms, conference rooms, executive offices, auditoriums, and campus collaboration spaces. Support high-profile University events including commencement ceremonies, Board of Trustees meetings, presidential events, conferences, lectures, and special campus programs. Manage AV equipment inventories, licensing, warranties, maintenance records, and replacement planning. Ensure technology assets remain secure, current, and operational.
