The Fire Safety Officer serves as the manager of required fire and safety programs. The FSO oversees the enforcement of all laws and ordinances related to fire safety, pyrotechnics, and explosives. The FSO will assist in performing life-safety repairs, monthly preventive maintenance of safety equipment, and coordinate life-safety vendors. This position requires the ability to walk, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time in heat and wintery conditions. The FSO is also required to respond to calls 24/7.
