The primary purpose of the position is to provide instruction in the Rehabilitation Counseling program and other core counseling courses for Master’s degree counseling students. Primary duties and responsibilities include teaching graduate-level courses in Rehabilitation Counseling and core counseling areas, providing academic advisement, internship and practicum supervision, and service to the department, college, and university committees. We are seeking a passionate and innovative hydrogen researcher to join our forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing the field of sustainable energy. Specifically, a staff researcher engineer position is available in The Center for Energy and Environmental Solutions (CEES) at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The ideal candidate should have expertise and demonstrated research in hydrogen production methods, storage, transportation, and sustainable energy applications. The candidates will work with fellow researchers and faculty mentors in the CEES and the College of Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, and Transportation (CSTEM-T). The post-doctoral candidate will be co-supervised by Drs. Nasrollah Hamidi and H. Bryan Riley. The appointment is for one year but may be extended for an additional year. The postdoctoral researcher will participate in research and workforce development programs that support the Batelle Savannah River Alliance, LLC (BSRA) and the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in energy sciences, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and an ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, they should have strong technical, communication, and project management skills. Other duties are subject to be assigned. |
