Post Doctoral Researcher Administration – Orangeburg, SC
A postdoctoral researcher position is available in commercial motor vehicles at South Carolina State University in South Carolina. The candidates will work with faculty mentors and researchers in the Department of Engineering and will be co-supervised by Drs. Mwakalonge and Siuhi. The appointment is for one year but may be extended for an additional year. The postdoctoral researcher will participate in an interdisciplinary, funded research project related to work zone safety for commercial motor vehicles. The postdoctoral candidate is expected to conduct research within a larger team led by Drs. Mwakalonge and Siuhi should have strong technical, communication, and project management skills. Other duties as assigned.
Preschool Teacher-CDLC Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Plan, prepare, and present lessons, activities, and materials that are appropriate for 4-year-old children. Assist children at mealtime, with toileting, and other personal habits. Maintain an attractive and well-organized classroom. Organize and monitor outdoor classroom activities. Develop teacher-made materials, and create and keep bulletin boards current. Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure Track Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The successful candidate will hold the title of Academic Program Coordinator for Fashion Merchandising. The successful will teach in-person or online courses, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. Delivers course content, learning activities and assessments using the university’s online learning platform, according to SCSU course outlines and online course delivery standards. Measures student achievement of course objectives. Maintains accurate records of student attendance, academic achievement and performance in accordance with university policies and procedures. Posts a syllabus that uses the university-approved syllabus template. Responds to requests for information and/or action from students and university administrators in a timely fashion (24-48 hours or less). Communicates early with any student in danger of failure or in need of individual counseling. Refers students to appropriate university resources for information, guidance, financial assistance, career development, etc. Collaborates with instructional support team for online teaching orientation and course delivery preparation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Registered Nurse II Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Provide direct care, education, and counseling, and coordinate on/off campus services for our targeted population. Supervises and instructs paraprofessional clinical/administrative support staff. ➢ Perform and document quality and appropriate health assessment and nursing care to students and the university community. ➢ Provide age-appropriate health education and counseling to students (young adults and non-traditional), individually and/or in a group setting. ➢ Perform and interpret basic laboratory tests, e.g. urinalysis, blood sugar, pregnancy, and other CLIA waive tests as well as participate in proficiency program. ➢ Work with inter/intra agency resources to provide continuity of care/service.
