Description of Duties and Responsibilities
The Assessment Center Coordinator - Manages the Assessment Center; and administers proctored exams; provides a broad range of academic services to support students enrolled in online and distance education programs at SC State University.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the University’s testing center including test scheduling, test proctoring, scheduling of part-time staff, communications with students, faculty, and staff, enforcement of operational procedures, ordering supplies, and overseeing proper maintenance and operations of equipment. 2. Provide information (written and verbal) to students, faculty, and staff in regard to online courses and programs, testing center services, procedures, and operations. 3. Facilitate Workshops related to Academic Technologies 4. Provide logistical support and training for Faculty Development Programs. 5. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position
a. Bachelor's degree and experience in proctoring assessments and student services programs. b. Experience with Learning Management Systems (Blackboard)

Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position
Knowledge of the assigned program area, such as proctoring exams, student activities, facilitating workshops, and Blackboard. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, coworkers, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively.
