An anticipated Associate Professor tenure-track position carrying a 18-hour annual teaching load of marketing courses at the Bachelor and/or Master level presents a rewarding professional opportunity for a highly qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join this well-established and highly recognized department as it continues to grow and further enhance its regional, national, and international reputation. CBIS in addition to its successful undergraduate program in marketing plans to establish a Marketing Concentration for the MBA Program.
With approximately 3,000 students, SCSU has Land-grant status of a relatively small but premier HBCU in the South. CBIS strives to improve outcomes for all students. The AACSB-accredited CBIS provides a highly engaged learning experience for approximately 600 undergraduates and graduate students and is deeply committed to building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working and learning environments for all our students, staff, and faculty. SC State’s geographical reach extends beyond its main Orangeburg campus (35 miles from Columbia and 60 miles from Charleston) to a satellite campus in Greenville.
The Associate Professor will be responsible for carrying a 18-hour annual teaching load of Marketing courses at the bachelor and/or MBA level.

Administrative Coordinator I

| Inputs, monitors, and maintains requisitions and invoices for library's accounts/budgets through banner to ensure compliance with university requirements. Works with all library vendors on the acquisitions of books, journals, electronic databases, microforms, equipment, etc., including leases. Organizes, maintains, and establishes a file and records management system for office data. Prepares, edits, and proofreads correspondences, reports, memos, letters, statistical data, etc. according to procedures.
Receives, screens, and directs all callers (personal and telephone), and refers to the appropriate person(s). Receives all correspondence and incoming mail, and sorts and distributes to the proper individual and department. Prepares and submits personnel forms, and time sheets, and maintains personal records for staff and student assistants. |

Associate DIrector of Student Financial Services

| • Provides a high level of customer service to the University community.
• Monitors the student billing receivables system (Banner); submits reports; prepares and distributes statements and/or correspondence to students.
• Updates debtor account information such as name, address, and phone number/(s) in student record system. Skip traces individuals who have withdrawn using online Web resources.
• Generates and mails letters to students who have officially withdrawn reminding of their financial obligation to the University. Flags computer records of students owing monies to the University. Monitors/maintains the addition/removal of miscellaneous charges in student billing system.
• Documents student account contact form with pertinent information such as date(s) of correspondence sent, dates of telephone conversations.
• Assists with cashiering duties as needed; assists other student financial services administrators during absences or peak workload periods.
• Responsible for documents correspondence pertaining to the Office of Student Financial Services.
• Assists students/parents attending student orientation.
• Communicates
• in a professional and service-oriented manner with students, parents, faculty, staff, and others.

Electronic Resources Librarian

| 1) collaborating regularly with external e-service providers, such as database vendors, consortia, and related technology suppliers for access and the resolution of access problems in a timely manner; 2) collaborating with the university IT department and EZ Proxy vendor to manage proxy server configuration and access; 3) negotiating electronic resources license agreements and renewal management; 4) investigating, evaluating, and recommending new and emerging technologies that will improve and expand access to library services and resources; and 5) using Counter 5 to provide usage reports; 6) providing reference and information services; 7) conducting information literacy training to ensure students and faculty can effectively search, assess, and information retrieved; 8) serve as library faculty liaison to academic departments, includes preparing accreditation and related accountability reports. |
