The Graduate Department of SC State University is hiring for an Enrollment Specialist. This position is a pivotal role in the daily operations of our graduate academic programs. The Graduate School Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and participating in recruitment activities and events.  The Graduate School Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist will coordinate outreach to prospective students, communities, educational partners, and must be able to provide informational sessions. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• They will guide and monitor prospective students through the enrollment portal process and respond to general inquiries regarding academic programs admission requirements and student support services.
• Provide administrative support to students, faculty, and departmental staff and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

• Candidate must monitor the management of graduate school electronic systems, processes, and procedures as directed.

• The candidate must be able to adhere to university policies and procedures. This position may require overnight travel to attend recruitment meetings, and conferences.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:

Bachelor's degree in a related field; A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in academic program coordination.
