AI/ML/ Data Scientist- Research Scientist in Administration – Orangeburg, SC
We are seeking candidates with expertise in core AI areas, such as AI/ML algorithms and theory, IOT, Quantum Computing, and High-Performance Computing. The successful candidates will be part of our NSA designated National Center of Academic Excellence (NCAE-C). They will be required to teach at least one undergraduate/graduate course (25% of an FTE) as a faculty member in the department of Computer Science and Mathematics. The successful candidates may be asked to teach one additional course if needed. They will devote 75% of their time to conducting research in the NCAE-C.

Research Scientist II for Food Safety and Health in Administration – Orangeburg, SC
• Conduct applied and innovative research in food safety & health, including microbial risk assessment, pathogen detection, and intervention strategies. • Design and execute experiments to evaluate food safety processes, technologies, standards and training modules. • Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical tools and software. • Prepare technical reports, scientific publications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development. • Monitor and evaluate emerging food safety risks and regulatory changes. • Support the Director of Food Safety & Health in strategic planning, grant writing, project management and closeout. • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. • Mentor junior staff and interns as needed. • Maintain communication with PSA Administration, College of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences Personnel including 1890 Research and 1890 Extension leadership. • Publish in reputable journals, develop technical papers, manuscripts and factsheets. • Other duties as assigned.

The incumbent should be able to teach Introduction to Sociology; Sociological Theory; Sociological Methods: Senior Seminar; and at least two of the following: Rural Sociology; Qualitative Methods/Statistics; Medical Sociology; Human Sexuality; or Gerontology. Command of English and the ability to interact successfully with students from diverse backgrounds is required. Teaching load is four classes a semester. Administrative Duties: - Assist in budget management, fundraising activities, and compliance with NCAA and conference regulations. - Maintain team records, statistics, and other administrative tasks as assigned. - Support the coordination of team travel, equipment inventory, and facility scheduling. 5. Community Engagement: - Participate in community outreach programs, camps, and clinics to promote the volleyball program and engage with local youth.

Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in Administration – Orangeburg, SC
