• Oversee the operations and management of the Climate-Smart Project.
• Assist the Principal Investigator and the Project Implementation Team in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, reporting, and disseminating all aspects of the Project to its various publics.
• Serve as a key advisor/resource to the 1890 Executive Team and University leadership.
• Prepare project information to be used by the PI, Co-PIs, Office of Sponsored Research, Grants/Compliance, University leadership, Board of Trustees, and external entities.
• Supervise project management team, postdocs, research technicians, extension agents, University staff, and off-campus implementing partners.
• Schedule project meetings, conferences, and workshops for project participants, delivery of technical training, and reports on the Scope of Work.
• Capable of communicating effectively in public settings, both orally and in writing. Ability to facilitate and coordinate the development, reporting, and dissemination of Impact Statements, Success Stories, Contact Hours, etc.
• Ability to prepare, write, proofread, edit, format, and submit project correspondences such as progress reports, quarterly and annual reports, and other documents.
• Ability to collect and decipher information to prepare written reports.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and understandings.
• Ability to establish and develop good relationships with staff, administrators, other institutions, organizations, etc. to prepare, implement, and accomplish successful project delivery.
• Assist in interpreting, preparing, and monitoring the Plan of Work reporting regulations and requirements statewide for 1890 Research and Extension and disseminate (qualitative and quantitative) information to appropriate sources upon approval. |
