Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position: The Health Sciences department welcome candidates with an earned doctorate in physical education, adapted physical education or related fields (human performance, health and physical education, recreation, kinesiology). Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position: For most teaching disciplines, applicants must hold a Master's degree or higher in the discipline advertised, or a Master's degree or higher in any discipline plus 18 graduate semester hours or 30 graduate semester hours
4-H Youth Development Extension Agent	Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Under the supervision of the Upstate Regional Director, the 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent will: • Oversees the program area and provides leadership to the regional 4-H and Youth Development Program. Organizes and conducts 4-H and Youth Development projects in the 4-H and Youth Development program areas which are Civic Engagement, Healthy Lifestyles, Financial Management, STREAM, and Volunteerism. • Provides leadership for 4-H and Youth Development project activities to meet the needs of youth in accordance with the Extension Model/Civil Rights/Affirmative Action Guidelines. • Uses the 1890 Extension Service Delivery Model (ESDM) recommendations along with appropriate technologies to plan and deliver 4-H Youth Development programs through workshops, seminars, conferences, one-on-one visits, field trips, and tours. • Networks and builds coalitions with other federal, state, and local agencies, organizations, and institutions to address the complex youth and family issues and needs of the 4-H and Youth Development Program.

The Visual Arts Program in the Department of Visual & Performing Arts at SC State University seeks a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate courses in Art History and Art Appreciation with knowledge of Art History and Aesthetics. Duties also include committee assignments, shared gallery management, departmental duties, and university/community service. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to art history: ARTH 215 Art History Survey I, ARTH 216 Art History Survey II, ARTH 420 Modern and Contemporary Art History, ARTH African American Art History, and ART 250 Art appreciation courses. The successful candidate will teach four courses each semester; actively participate within the Visual Arts Program unit and serve as academic advisor to assigned students. Other responsibilities include Departmental, School/College, and/or University committee services. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential.
