| The Department of Engineering in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Transportation at South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, South Carolina is seeking a full-time, tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Transportation with special emphasis in connected and autonomous transportation systems. The position is available starting Spring 2026. Candidates with diverse research interests are encouraged to apply by demonstrating how their research supports planning, design, and operation of connected and autonomous transportation systems. The position is expected to be filled at the Assistant Professor level, however the Associate Professor level will be considered. Candidates applying at the Associate Professor level must have a well-established academic record, including scholarly publications, teaching, and externally-funded research. |

CBIS in addition to its successful undergraduate program in marketing plans to establish a Marketing Concentration for the MBA Program.
With approximately 3,000 students, SCSU has Land-grant status of a relatively small but premier HBCU in the South. CBIS strives to improve outcomes for all students.
