Athletics Coach Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Assists with the student-athlete recruitment effort for the women’s soccer program. This includes traveling to high school and club contests, evaluating prospective student-athletes, submitting materials from prospective student-athletes to the Office of Admissions for early credential reviews, assisting with on campus visits by prospects. Assists with recruiting a diverse incoming class of soccer student-athletes that contribute to the growth and success of the team and to the University community at large. Assists with scouting of opponents and prepares scouting reports used to prepare student- athletes for competition. Responsible for film breakdown and implementing game plan strategies. Assists with the planning of all in-season practice sessions and developing an off-season training schedule and program. Assists with all game coaching at home and on the road. Assist the head coach with managing all administrative details associated with the program including travel arrangements and apparel/equipment purchases. Assists with monitoring students’ academic process, schedule regular season games, and work within the required NCAA And University rules and regulations. Chairperson Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The Chair of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Department is supervised by the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies and under the general direction of the Dean, the Chair serves as the chief Academic Officer of the Department with all duties and responsibilities attendant thereto. The Chair manages the Department as an autonomous unit that is revenue producing, data driven, and productive in scholarly and research pursuits. The Chair provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction to faculty in Speech Pathology and Audiology. The Chair, in concert with the faculty, shall maintain operational procedures, rules and standards relating to faculty and staff classification standards and accrediting bodies to ensure accreditation of eligible programs and reaffirmation of programs currently accredited.

Extension Director - Associate Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The associate research director reports directly to the executive director of 1890 Research & Extension and oversees operation of the Evans-Allen Research Program. Assists in providing administrative leadership to all research programs and in providing programmatic leadership to research programs in agriculture. Assists the executive director or his appointee in preparing and coordinating publications, reviews, and evaluations of research programs in Agriculture; works with principal investigators to ensure that 1890 reports are submitted in a timely manner at the termination of Evans-Allen and State funded projects. Assists the executive director in developing and monitoring research budgets for Evans-Allen and for State research projects in agriculture and human sciences; Represents the executive director at selected research meetings, workshops, and other appropriate forums; monitors implementation of the NIFA 5-year Plan of Work for research programs in agriculture. Assistant Professor of Art / Curator II ~ Non Tenure-Track Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The Visual Arts Program in the Visual & Performing Arts Department at South Carolina State University is seeking applicants to fill a full-time 10-month non-tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Art and Curator in which responsibilities are dedicated to 50% instructional duties and 50% Fine Arts Building (FAB) Gallery Curator/Studio Technician duties. This position will instruct two undergraduate courses per semester in an area of specialization, foundations, art appreciation, independent study and/or senior capstone. Studio Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to helping to maintain and supervise the studios & ensure safe art making practices and the proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment. They will maintain and repair studio equipment and facilities and/or provide support related to equipment and safety. The studio technician is responsible for studio organization, cleanliness, and safety through maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all studio spaces and working with the College Safety Officer to implement proper use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. This position will be responsible with assisting the art faculty with ordering and receiving of art materials/supplies. FAB Gallery Curator responsibilities include but are not limited to curation, installation and de-installation of all exhibitions and coordination with visiting artists. This includes the production and distribution of corresponding marketing materials, the writing and distribution of press releases and the coordination of artist talks and receptions. The selected candidate will maintain and upkeep the FAB Gallery . The gallery curator is responsible for coordinating the annual student exhibition. This position reports to the Chair of the Visual & Performing Arts Department and may be required to perform additional duties as may be assigned by the college dean, and other members of the upper administration.
