South Carolina State University is seeking for an Administrative Specialist II to work in the College of Science/Mathematics and Engineering Tech. This candidate is to assist the department head with all departmental preparation and maintenance of activities and records including accreditation. This will include day-to-day operation of the department programs such as maintaining and preparing reports and records; conducting meetings; assisting faculty, students, and staff; and, any other duties assigned by the department head and/or dean of the college to maintain accreditation standards for the academic programs.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:  Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.


Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position:  Prior administrative experience in an academic setting - working with students, faculty, staff and others
