Contract Officer Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The Contract Officer (CO) will be primarily responsible for the timely review, negotiation, and administration of procurement contracts issued by Federal Government agencies under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) or sponsored program agreements incorporating Uniform Guidance or funding organizations' special terms and conditions as well as processing other types of agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements, data use agreements, etc., from federal, state, municipal, or non-profit entities. The CO will ensure that the legal, financial, regulatory, and business risks in procurement contracts and other agreements are effectively communicate to faculty/ staff, investigators, administrative colleagues and partners about issues and recommend mutually satisfactory terms & conditions. Also, the CO will coordinate with University offices such as,the president, the provost, the Office of General Counsel, Finance, IT, etc., as needed for the constructive resolution of contract and agreement issues and post-execution administration of contract awards. The Contract Officer will offer effective analytical and creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Program Coordinator Administration – Orangeburg, SC
In addition to processing the above-mentioned Change of Majors, Data Collect Changes (Name and SSN Changes) and Posts Academic Credit (Cross-Registration Forms/Credit, Transient Forms/Credit, Exchange Forms/Credit, and Graduate Transfer/Substitution Credit), the program coordinator also processes Change of Curriculums, Enrollment Comparison Reports, Course Changes, Credit By Examinations, Degree Verify – Clearinghouse Report, Enrollment Verify – Clearinghouse Report, Graduation, PE/Military Credit, Schedule Booklet. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of specialized program coordinator duties for the Registrar’s Office. Coordinates activities to include Change of Majors, Secondary Major Declaration and Minor Declarations , Change of Curriculums, Cross Registration Forms/Credit, Data Cleanup & Clearinghouse Reports, Report Requests & Transient Forms/Credit, Exchange Forms/Credit and Graduate Transfer/Substitution Credit, Setup the Academic Calendar for Term and Roll the Term.
Accountant/Fiscal Analyst I Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing and timely delivery of assigned payroll duties. The candidate will assist in accurately paying employees in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. The candidate will exercise independent judgment and discretion in planning and carrying out the details of work procedures and methods. The candidate will process all transactions concerning the assimilation of payroll information, the processing of payroll changes, and the distribution of payroll checks. Assist with direct deposits and payroll deduction data entry. The candidate will help to assure proper tax treatment, accounting, and disposition of withholdings such as taxes, deductions for benefits, charitable contributions, retirement contributions, etc. Ensure authorized deductions are deducted from employee pay and disbursed to the proper company. Coordinate with Human Resources for the proper benefit and deduction setup. Assist with preparation and distribution of W-2s and year-end reports. Record and maintain employee timesheets and payroll data. Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner, analyze payroll issues and recommend corrective actions. Assist in payroll and timesheet audit activities. Generate payroll reports.
