Under the supervision of the Upstate Regional Director, the 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent will:
• Oversees the program area and provides leadership to the regional 4-H and Youth Development Program. Organizes and conducts 4-H and Youth Development projects in the 4-H and Youth Development program areas which are Civic Engagement, Healthy Lifestyles, Financial Management, STREAM, and Volunteerism.
• Provides leadership for 4-H and Youth Development project activities to meet the needs of youth in accordance with the Extension Model/Civil Rights/Affirmative Action Guidelines.
• Uses the 1890 Extension Service Delivery Model (ESDM) recommendations along with appropriate technologies to plan and deliver 4-H Youth Development programs through workshops, seminars, conferences, one-on-one visits, field trips, and tours.
• Networks and builds coalitions with other federal, state, and local agencies, organizations, and institutions to address the complex youth and family issues and needs of the 4-H and Youth Development Program. |
Assistant Professor of Art

The Visual Arts Program in the Department of Visual & Performing Arts at South Carolina State University seeks a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate courses in Digital Media with proficiency in Animation/Motion Graphics, Digital Video, Print Media, New Media, Web Page Design, and Typography. In addition, the ideal candidate should possess the ability and desire to manage and advance the Digital Media area and its curricula offerings as it relates to the. goals of the Visual Arts Program. other responsibilities include managing/overseeing the Digital Media Mac lab, its corresponding computer hardware, and software, and the work-study students/lab monitors as. well as working with the studio technician on any necessary maintenance. Teaching responsibilities may include but are not limited to art foundation courses, and/or art appreciation. The successful candidate will teach three to four courses each semester; actively participate within the Visual Arts Program unit and advise students. Other responsibilities include Departmental, School/College, and/or University committee services. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential. |

Director of Admissions and Recrutiment

• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet enrollment targets.
• Oversee the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making admissions decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing team to promote the institution and attract prospective students.
• Provide leadership and training to admissions staff.
• Dual enrollment recruitment/coordination with school districts
• Develop an international recruitment plan
• Monitor and report on admissions metrics and trends.
• Establish and maintain relationships with high schools, colleges, and other relevant organizations to recruit potential students.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and regulations related to admissions.
• Participate in outreach events and represent the institution at admissions events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students. |
Administrative Assistant (CEES)

•Arrange travel and accommodations for the director (and other researchers) per university guidelines (i.e., CONCUR)
•Ensure proper setup of meeting spaces and technology resources.

•Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
