Information Systems/ Business Analyst I Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Working in conjunction with functional business areas and information technology assists with analyzing business user needs to assess technical feasibility and solutions. Assists with translating business needs into functional business requirements/specifications and managing changes. Assists in gathering of information for business requirements/specifications to document designs, specifications, and options for technical solutions. Develops business requirement/specification documentation(designs, , processes, workflows) and communications for projects within a basic level of complexity Carries out procedures to ensure that all systems, products, and services meet agency standards and end-user requirements. Creates basic test scenarios and completes testing of software and/or hardware to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Recommends improvements to existing services. Prepares flowcharts, block diagrams, and other documentation to illustrate programs, processes, and procedures.
Network Technician II Administration – Orangeburg, SC
Responsible for installation and implementation of LAN, wireless access, cables, wiring, switches, etc. for data networks. troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex network issues. Provides preventative actions and recommendations for network issues. Serves as technical resource for all data network systems support. Monitors data network systems to include problem analysis, tracking, and resolution. Assists in documenting information for data networking systems changes and/or procedures. Assists with designing hardware configurations and installing hardware. Assists with planning, design, and evaluations relative to data networking and operations layouts. Assists with coordinating operation of system. Maintains all system documentation. Monitors all system maintenance. Maintains records of equipment and replacement plan. Applies simple to moderately complex state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve network control center. Trains users in the proper utilization of hardware and software and writes training manuals. Assists with evaluating technologies and makes recommendations for adoption. Enrollment Specialist (Graduate School Recruiter) Administration – Orangeburg, SC
This position is a pivotal role in the daily operations of our graduate academic programs. The Graduate School Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and participating in recruitment activities and events. The Graduate School Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist will coordinate outreach to prospective students, communities, educational partners, and must be able to provide informational sessions. They will guide and monitor prospective students through the enrollment portal process and respond to general inquiries regarding academic programs admission requirements and student support services. Provide administrative support to students, faculty, and departmental staff and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Candidate must monitor the management of graduate school electronic systems, processes, and procedures as directed. The candidate must be able to adhere to university policies and procedures. This position may require overnight travel to attend recruitment meetings, meetings, and conferences.
Head Women's Soccer Coach Administration – Orangeburg, SC
The Head Coach is responsible for the overall development of an effective and competitive NCAA Division I Women’s soccer program that helps to enhance the student-athlete’s overall college experience. The recruitment and retention of student-athletes, who possess the academic and athletic skills to succeed at the highest level is a top priority. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program, with a focus on the overall development of the student-athletes, their social, intellectual, and physical growth. • Creates an environment of respect, inclusion, camaraderie, and an atmosphere of learning, that aids in the development of the student. • Teach the three pillars of the game: Tactical, Technical, Physical, Psychological. • Complies with the NCAA rules and regulations and those of the University. • Develops the effective playing strategies depending on the skill level, physical abilities, and tactical understanding of the game to compete at the highest level • Able to teach and demonstrate the skills of the game, communicate effectively, and set realistic goals for the team. • Provide effective leadership for the student-athletes by teaching life skills to help students to develop social responsibility, self-confidence, maturity, and productive decision-making skills to be ready for and ever-changing world beyond South Carolina State. • Help students develop their time management skills to create an effective balance between academics and athletics. • Generate community interest in the soccer program. • Articulate the philosophy and goals of the Athletic Department and the University’s mission. • Monitor academic progress of all student-athletes and recommend those in need of academic support.
Major Gifts Officer Administration – Orangeburg, SC
1. Donor Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify prospective donors capable of making significant gifts to the university. Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies tailored to each donor's interests, philanthropic priorities, and capacity to give. Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through personalized stewardship activities, including regular communication, campus visits, and events. 2. Fundraising Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Vice President and Associate Vice President and other fundraising team members to establish annual fundraising goals and strategies. Develop comprehensive fundraising plans for assigned prospects, outlining cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to achieve fundraising targets. Utilize a moves management approach to track donor interactions and progress through the fundraising pipeline. Prepare compelling solicitation materials, including proposals, presentations, and case statements, to effectively communicate the university's funding priorities and impact. 3. Donor Engagement and Cultivation: Engage donors in the life of the university by providing opportunities for involvement, including campus visits, meetings with faculty and students, and participation in events. Work closely with university leadership, academic deans, and program directors to identify funding priorities and develop compelling cases for support. Coordinate and facilitate donor recognition and stewardship activities, including naming opportunities, donor receptions, and recognition societies.
